SHANGHAI, Aug. 30 (SMM) – China’s aluminum semis exports grew on both yearly and monthly basis in July, with extrusion being the biggest contributor.

Customs data showed China exported 556,000 tonnes of aluminum semis in July, up 2.8% from June and 7.49% from a year ago.

Exports of aluminum extrusions jumped 5.83% month-on-month and 29.31% year-on-year to 145,500 tonnes.

Vietnam was still the top destination for China’s aluminum extrusion exports, while the US was the biggest receiver of China’s exports of aluminum plate/sheet, strip and foil.
