Base metal prices on the SHFE are expected to diverge on Friday, Shanghai Metals Market foresees.

SHANGHAI, Aug. 26 (SMM) – Base metal prices on the SHFE are expected to diverge on Friday, Shanghai Metals Market foresees. 

“Investors now focus on US Federal Reserves’ chairwomen speech at Jackson Hole, and the message from her speech will greatly affect market sentiment,” SMM says. 

Key Macroeconomic Indicators for Base Metal Prices (2016-8-26) 

Copper: 36,100-36,600 yuan per tonne

Aluminum: 12,250-12,430 yuan per tonne

Lead: 13,800-14,000 yuan per tonne

Zinc: 17,500-17,700 yuan per tonne

Tin: 122,500-124,000 yuan per tonne

Nickel: 77,500-79,800 yuan per tonne
