China Minmetals Zinc Concentrate Output Falls 74% in First Half

China Minmetals Co. reported a 74% year-on-year slide in zinc concentrate output in the first half of this year, with 75,000 tonnes, SMM understands.

SHANGHAI, Aug. 17 (SMM) - China Minmetals Co. reported a 74% year-on-year slide in zinc concentrate output in the first half of this year, with 75,000 tonnes, SMM understands.

Output at its Century mine was zero in the second quarter. Golden Grove produced 18,000 tonnes of zinc concentrate in H1, up 12% year-on-year. Rosebery saw output fall 18% year-on-year to 40,000 tonnes.
