North American Copper Scrap Prices Drop Slightly On 9th Aug, 2016

The North American copper scrap prices declined marginally on Tuesday, August 9th.

MONTREAL (Scrap Monster): The North American copper scrap prices edged marginally lower on ScrapMonster Price Index  as on August 9th, Tuesday.

The price of Alternator scrap remained unchanged over the previous day. The price of #1 Copper Wire and Tubing declined by $0.01 per Lb. #2 Copper Wire and Tubing prices were also down by $0.01 per Lb. The price of #1 Copper Bare Bright too went lower by $ 0.01 per Lb.

The prices of #1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery witnessed downfall of $0.01 per Lb over the previous day. #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery prices remained unchanged. #3 Copper-Light copper prices dropped by $0.01 per Lb to reach $1.77 per Lb.

The prices of Copper Radiator scrap held steady when compared with previous day’s levels. Copper Transformer Scrap prices remained unchanged. CuYokes prices too witnessed no change from the previous day. Meanwhile, the prices of Cu/Al Radiators, Cu/Al Radiator Ends and Cu/Al Radiators/Fe too remained unchanged on August 9th, 2016.

Harness Wire 35% Recovery and Heater cores prices were unchanged.

The price of Romex Wire dropped by $0.01 per Lb when matched with the previous day.

The prices of Scrap Electric Motors, Sealed units, Starters and Xmas Lights maintained the previous day price levels.
