SHANGHAI, Aug. 8 (SMM) – Last Friday’s night trading, SHFE 1609 tin fell after opening at RMB 120,340/mt, and ended at RMB 120,010/mt.
On Monday, long buying pushed the most active contract all the way up after starting at RMB 120,010/mt. Finally, the contract and ended up RMB 1,900/mt or 1.58% at RMB 122,200/mt. Trading volumes were up 244 lots to 15,974 lots, and positions were up 1,058 to 13,970. SHFE 1609 tin will rise further to challenge resistance at RMB 123,000/mt.
