76% Chinese copper wire rod producers expect orders to stabilize in August due to term contracts and planned output, SMM surveys.

SHANGHAI, Aug. 8 (SMM) – 76% Chinese copper wire rod producers expect orders to stabilize in August due to term contracts and planned output, SMM surveys.

The remaining 24% market players see orders to fall in August. Orders posted marked decline in wire & cable market, which will lead to further drop in orders at copper wire rod producers in August. Besides, export is in off-season at present, which will also drag down orders at copper wire rod producers.
