Copper Concentrate Imports Transit Qinhuangdao Rise 100.5% in H1 2016

Hebei Entry-ExitInspection and Quarantine Bureau reported China’s copper concentrate imports transit the Port of Qinhuangdao increased 100.5% year-on-year to 292,800 tonnes in the first half of 2016.

SHANGHAI, Aug. 4 (SMM) - Hebei Entry-ExitInspection and Quarantine Bureau reported China’s copper concentrate imports transit the Port of Qinhuangdao increased 100.5% year-on-year to 292,800 tonnes in the first half of 2016, according to report.hebei.com.

Global Copper Ore Output to Rise at 1 Mln tonnes Tempo by 2019

These goods were imported by 32 shiploads by Jiangxi Copper Co. from Chile, Iran, Peru, Armenia, Mexico, the Philippines and the US, which are worth $285.11 million, a rise of 58.1% year-on-year. But the grade of the goods was lower.
