Teck Zinc Production Falls in H1 with Concentrate Output Expected to Rise in 2016

Teck Resources’ zinc concentrate output was 341,000 tonnes in the first half of this year, down 1.16% year-on-year.

SHANGHAI, Aug. 4 (SMM) - Teck Resources’ zinc concentrate output was 341,000 tonnes in the first half of this year, down 1.16% year-on-year. Refined zinc output was 148,000 tonnes, a fall of 1.33% year-on-year, SMM reports.

Vedanta Zinc Output Slumps during April-June

It expects zinc concentrate output to grow 20,000 tonnes to 665,000 tonnes in 2016.
