North American copper scrap prices increased marginally 2nd August, 2016

The North American copper scrap prices edged higher slightly on August 2nd, Tuesday.

TORONTO (Scrap Monster): The North American copper scrap prices climbed higher marginally on ScrapMonster Price Index  as on August 2nd, Tuesday.

The price of Alternator scrap remained unchanged over the previous day. The price of #1 Copper Wire and Tubing rose by $0.01 per Lb. #2 Copper Wire and Tubing prices were also up by $0.01 per Lb. The price of #1 Copper Bare Bright went higher by $ 0.01 per Lb.

The prices of #1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery remained flat at $1.51 per Lb. #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery prices too held steady over the day. #3 Copper-Light copper prices went higher by $0.01 per Lb to reach $1.80 per Lb.

The prices of Copper Radiator scrap remained flat from previous day’s levels. Copper Transformer Scrap prices remained unchanged. CuYokes and Cu/Al Radiator Ends prices too reported no change from the previous day.

Meanwhile, the prices of Cu/Al Radiators held steady over the previous day.

Cu/Al Radiators/Fe prices too were flat on August 2nd, 2016.

Harness Wire 35% Recovery and Heater cores prices witnessed no change in prices.

Also, the prices of Scrap Electric Motors, Starters, Sealed units and Xmas Lights maintained previous day price levels.
