SHANGHAI, Aug. 3 (SMM) – Beihai Chengde has started unit maintenance at its one 36,000 kva RKEF furnace from Aug. 1, according to 51bxg.com. 

The maintenance, to last for two months, will affect high-grade NPI output by around 10,000 tonnes, accounting for 1-2 per cent of nation’s total. 

Meanwhile, output of #304 steel will also fall by about 25,000 tonnes in August, it reported.
