LME Copper to Stay Range-Bound (2016-8-3)

LME copper will narrowly range USD 4,870-4,910/mt during Asian trading hours Wednesday.

SHANGHAI, Aug. 3 (SMM) – LME copper will narrowly range USD 4,870-4,910/mt during Asian trading hours Wednesday.

LME copper traced crude down overnight and US dollar posted declines.

SHFE 1609 copper will fluctuate between RMB 37,600-38,100/mt on Aug. 3. Spot copper in China will be offered at premiums of RMB 10-90/mt against SHFE 1608 copper.

LME copper started at USD 5,158/mt overnight and moved higher to USD 5,240/mt thanks to Chinese stock rally.
