China’s appetite for imported bauxite continued weakening in June, Customs data showed.

SHANGHAI, Aug. 2 (SMM) – China’s appetite for imported bauxite continued weakening in June, Customs data showed. 

It needs to be pointed out, though, that Australia, Guinea and Brazil remained the top three suppliers, accounting for 48%, 28% and 12%, respectively, of total imports.

China imported 3.51 million tonnes of bauxite in June, down 12.37% from a year ago and 8.9% from May.
