DashboardDatabaseProReportsEventsCar InsightSHANGHAI, Jul. 29 (SMM) – The lead concentrate imports in China recorded a new high for the year in June, China Customs reported.
China imported 144,000 tonnes of lead concentrate in June, up 38.93% YoY and 38.09% MoM. YTD imports through June were 671,700 tonnes, falling 12.17% YoY.
The sharp rise in imports was due largely to tight supply of domestic concentrate and growing demand from Jiangxi Copper and Chifeng Shanjin Silver & Lead.
