Steel Recycling rate remains stable during Q2

Environment Agency’s (EA) latest data indicates the steel packaging recycling rate remained tough during Q2 of the current year.

Environment Agency’s (EA) latest data indicates the steel packaging recycling rate remained tough during Q2 of the current year. During the second quarter of the year amount surged higher by over 26% from 94,785 tons in Q1 to 119,556 tons. 

The steel packaging recycling totaled 214,341 tons during the first half of the year. Aluminum recycling rate remained steady during the Q2 at 22156 tons. The rate had stood at 22602 tons during Q1 this year. 

The plastic packaging recycling rate increased from 246427 tons during Q1 to 259409 tons during Q2 this year.
