SHANGHAI, Jul. 28 (SMM) – Chinese government will further decrease subsidies for new energy vehicles in 2017-2018, SMM reports.
Market Enthusiasm for New Energy Vehicles Grows in China despite Falling Subsidies
The government will further cut subsidies by 20% from the basis of 2016 for 2017-2018, and will cut by 40% from the basis of 2016 for 2019-2020. The policies come into effect from 2016-2020.
China will adjust subsidies for new energy vehicles based on technical improvement, industry development, application scale and costs of the industry.
