Chinese Iron Ore imports from Australia advance in June

China's iron ore imports from Australia in June increased by 3.78 % year-on-year but decreased 6.12% month-on-month.

BEIJING (Scrap Register): China's iron ore imports  from Australia in June increased by 3.78 % year-on-year but decreased 6.12%  month-on-month, imports were 51.4 million mt of iron ore, according to the  General Administration of Customs.

Imports from Brazil rose 14.98%  year-on-year to 15.22 million mt in June but declined 9.38%  month-on-month. Australia and Brazil's iron ore supply showed  81.59% of China's total imports in June.

A total of 81.63 million mt of  iron ore was received by China in June, which is down by 5.90%  month-on-month, up 8.9% from June 2015. China imported 493.88  million mt of iron ore in the first half of 2016, up 9% from the same period  last year.
