SHFE 1609 zinc opened at RMB 17,385/mt last evening, and closed at RMB 17,365/mt, up RMB 170/mt.

SHANGHAI, Jul. 22 (SMM) – SHFE 1609 zinc opened at RMB 17,385/mt last evening, and closed at RMB 17,365/mt, up RMB 170/mt. Trading volumes of SHFE 1609 zinc were up 267,000, and positions increased 4,400 to 280,000.

SHFE 1609 zinc fell from RMB 17,400/mt to RMB 17,300/mt today, fluctuating in a RMB 17,200-17,300 /mt range in the afternoon and closing at RMB 17,285/mt, up RMB 90/mt.

Trading volumes of SHFE 1609 zinc increased 103,000 to 512,000, and positions were up 1,350 to 277,000.
