Domestic Stainless Steel Mills Lift NPI Purchase Price, SMM Reports

Two major domestic steel mills lifted the procurement price of high-grade NPI this week, Shanghai Metals Market reports.

SHANGHAI, Jul. 22 (SMM) – Two major domestic steel mills lifted the procurement price of high-grade NPI this week, Shanghai Metals Market reports. 

According to SMM sources, Fujian Dingxin Industry raised the purchase price by 20 yuan to 830 yuan per mtu. 

One Jiangsu Stainless Steel Mill Extends Production Suspension, SMM Reports

Another Jiangsu-based stainless steel mill also lifted its procurement price up to 820-825 yuan per mtu, up 7.5 yuan, generating little response, as its price was still below producers and traders’ acceptance level of 830-850 yuan per tonne.
