SHANGHAI, Jul. 21 (SMM) – Hengxing Gold Holding registered big growth in its gold production in the second quarter of 2016, based on hkstock.cnfol.com.

The company processed 1.43 million tonnes of ore in Q2 and produced 20,352 oz or 633 kg of gold, respectively up 20% and 132% on the yearly basis. Hence, the increase in ore processing output helped grow gold output in Q2.

The large rise in output was also due to improved ore grade, up from 0.73 gram per tonne in Q2 last year to 0.91 gram per tonne. The production costs also dropped by 35% YoY from $ 1,008/oz to $ 660/oz during March-June.
