Hebei New Energy Vehicle Battery Base Enters into Service

A large new energy vehicle battery base in Hebei’s Tangshan entered into operation on July 17.

SHANGHAI, Jul. 18 (SMM) – A large new energy vehicle battery base in Hebei’s Tangshan entered into operation on July 17, based on bjrb.bjd.com.

The base is invested by Tangshan Wo Tema Battery Co. with total investment of 1.68 billion yuan ($ 0.25 billion). The first phase represents 1 billion Ah annual lithium battery capacity. The second phase will start in September.

The new energy vehicle battery base is expected to have an annual capacity of 3 billion Ah with business revenues to be 7.2 billion yuan. And the base will offer 2,000 jobs.
