SHANGHAI, Jul 14 (SMM) - The price spread on #0 zinc between Guangdong and Shanghai expanded from 50-90 yuan to above 100 yuan per tonne this week, SMM reports.

Sufficient supplies and weak consumption in Guangdong widened the price spread between the two.

Zinc smelters servicing South China maintained steady production in July, and some reduced shipments to Shanghai whilst increasing those to Guangdong.
