SHANGHAI, Jul. 14 (SMM) – China has succeeded in trial run of 5 Ah lithium vanadium phosphate and graphite lithium-ion battery project currently, marking a breakthrough in R&D of lithium-ion batteries, according to auto.gasgoo.com.
The project is expected to enter into service by the end of this year. The performance of such type batteries has been enhanced notably, including heat endurance, safety and cycle life.
Such type batteries can be widely used in electric vehicles, aerospace and defence industries, especially in cold areas in north China.
