SHANGHAI, Jul. 12 (SMM) - MCC Huludao Nonferrous Metals Group Co. reported big growth in nonferrous metals production in the first quarter of 2016, as per cnmn.com.
Its nonferrous metals output was 149,961 tonnes during January-June, a rise of 5,143 tonnes year-on-year. Huludao Northern Copper Cooperation’s blister copper output was 57,476 tonnes, up 29,292 tonnes from the same period of last year.
Its cathode zinc production was 11,473 tonnes higher than the same period of last year, and refined zinc output was 2,514 tonnes higher.
Meanwhile, cadmium, silver and indium output was 101 tonnes, 463 kg and 2,044 kg higher than the same period of 2015.
It plans to produce 387,000 tonnes of nonferrous metals this year, with 292,000 tonnes of lead and zinc, and 95,000 tonnes of copper.
