Southwest Aluminum Taps further into Aerospace Aluminum Market

Southwest Aluminum (Group) Co., subsidiary of Chalco, has made tapped further into high-end civil use aerospace aluminum market.

SHANGHAI, Jul. 11 (SMM) –Southwest Aluminum (Group) Co., subsidiary of Chalco, has made tapped further into high-end civil use aerospace aluminum market. 

The company recently signed cooperation agreement with global famous freight airplane manufacturer Antonov, involving thick plate, thin sheet and extrusions.  

Southwest Aluminum, dedicated to developing international high-end civil-use aerospace market, signed a new round of framework agreement with Airbus in May this year, making it Airbus’s only supplier of 2024-series aluminum alloy product in China.  

Besides, it has began supplying goods to SAFRAN in batches.
