SHFE 1609 Tin Ends with Big Loss (2016-7-8)

SHANGHAI, Jul. 8 (SMM) – On Thursday’s night trading, SHFE 1609 tin opened at RMB 117,880/mt, and ended at RMB 116,640/mt. 

On Friday, the most active contract fell to RMB 113,840/mt after opening at RMB 116,400/mt as investors cut bullish bets. Prices recovered some losses later, but still ended down RMB 2,020/mt or 1.73% at RMB 114,900/mt. Trading volumes were down 9,382 lots to 24,224 lots, and positions were down 1,122 to 12,776.
