Zinc Futures on LME and SHFE to Slide Next Week, SMM Says

LME zinc prices are expected to fall and move between $2,060-2,150 per tonne next week, SMM predicts, and SHFE September zinc will slide to 16,000-16,600 yuan per tonne.

SHANGHAI, Jul. 8 (SMM) – LME zinc prices are expected to fall and move between $2,060-2,150 per tonne next week, SMM predicts, and SHFE September zinc will slide to 16,000-16,600 yuan per tonne.

Entry of shorts will allow zinc futures to extend losses, SMM says.

Spot zinc in Shanghai will trade 30 yuan below or 10 yuan per tonne above August zinc on the SHFE, SMM added.
