Aluminum Supply Tightness to Ease in China, SMM expects

Aluminum supply in south and east China will tighten further as transport has been several affected by days of torrential rains, SMM expects.

SHANGHAI, Jul. 8 (SMM) – Aluminum supply tightness in China, caused by transport disruptions from heavy rains, will ease as cargos in  transit are about to arrive, SMM expects.

Besides, poor demand in the off-season will slow down inventory declines.

SMM expects aluminum stocks in domestic five major markets to fall slower or even begin growing slightly this week.
