Shenzhen Center Power Tech announced on July 5 to put online its motive lithium-ion battery project in 2018.

SHANGHAI, Jul. 5 (SMM) – Shenzhen Center Power Tech announced on July 5 to put online its motive lithium-ion battery project in 2018, according to finance.sina.com.

The infrastructure construction of the project has been started at present and the whole construction for the project is scheduled to take two years. 

The company has not signed new customers but the performance of products from the company can meet requirements of potential customers, namely domestic bus manufacturers.

From the raw material side, zinc prices mainly fluctuated this week, but most downstream enterprises were on holiday, with pricing being the main activity and fewer cargo pick-ups. However, large plants had basically received long-term contract goods by the beginning of the week, and zinc ingot inventories at galvanising enterprises increased slightly.
