China Releases Rare Earth Mining Quota for 2016

China’s Ministry of Land & Resources (MLR) recently released the country’s rare earth mining quota for the whole year of 2016.

SHANGHAI, Jul. 4 (SMM) – China’s Ministry of Land & Resources (MLR) recently released the country’s rare earth mining quota for the whole year of 2016. 

The total quota is 105,000 tonnes in REO content, including 17,900 tonnes of ion-type rare earth (mainly medium-heavy rare earth), and 87,100 tonnes of rock-type rare earth (mainly light rare earth).
