High-grade NPI prices climbed above 800 yuan per mtu on Jul. 4, Shanghai Metals Market reports.

SHANGHAI, Jul. 4 (SMM) – High-grade NPI prices climbed above 800 yuan per mtu on Jul. 4, Shanghai Metals Market reports.  

One stainless steel mill in Jiangsu raised its procurement price of high-grade NPI above 800 yuan per mtu (price to factory, cash on delivery), according to SMM data.

China Sees Bigger Increases in Nickel Ore Inventories, SMM Reports

Another large mill in north China is also expected to raise its purchase price for July above 800 yuan per tonne, SMM says.
