Most China Copper Plate/Sheet, Strip and Foil Producers See Orders to Stabilize in June

About 62% of 21 Chinese copper plate/sheet, strip and foil producers expect orders to stabilize in June, SMM survey shows.

SHANGHAI, Jun. 27 (SMM) – About 62% of 21 Chinese copper plate/sheet, strip and foil producers expect orders to stabilize in June, SMM survey shows.

Copper plate/sheet and strip industries remain in high-demand season in June and mainly favor term contracts, leaving steady orders. And downstream communication industry posts stable development.

29% respondents believe that orders will drop in June while the remaining 9% industrial insiders are optimistic over orders in June. Output fell back in May due to equipment failure but should grow in June following equipment replacement.
