LME Zinc to Fall Initially before Rallying Next Week

LME zinc is expected to weaken early next week but then rally, moving in the $1,980-2,080 per tonne range, SMM predicts.

SHANGHAI, Jun. 17 (SMM)-LME zinc is expected to weaken early next week but then rally, moving in the $1,980-2,080 per tonne range, SMM predicts.

“The US dollar should remain in upward track next week, and risk aversion will dominate the market before the referendum in the UK,”said one SMM zinc analyst.

August zinc on the SHFE will fluctuate between 15,300-15,800 yuan per tonne, SMM added. Spot discounts will be 50-0 yuan per tonne
