Overnight, SHFE 1609 nickel started higher at RMB 71,880/mt and ended at RMB 71,330/mt.

SHANGHAI, Jun. 16 (SMM) – Overnight, SHFE 1609 nickel started higher at RMB 71,880/mt and ended at RMB 71,330/mt.

SHFE 1609 nickel started at RMB 71,300/mt on Thursday and ranged RMB 70,900-71,200/mt, to close at RMB 70,420/mt, down 0.45%. Trading volumes slid 70,920 to 498,000 lots and positions were down 30,286 to 568,000.

SHFE 1609 nickel should test support at the 5-day moving average tonight.
