SHANGHAI, Jun. 16 (SMM) – Ningxia is expected to be built as new energy vehicle R&D base in the future, auto.gasgoo.com reported.
The new base will cover an area of 666,000 m2 with total investment hitting 2.3 billion yuan ($ 0.35 billion). The project is scheduled to produce 3,000 units of new energy public buses, 2,000 units of medium-sized buses and 3,000 units of light passenger vehicles within five years.
The project is forecast to enter into full operation in 2019, when annual output value will reach 3 billion yuan and tax revenues will hit 210 million yuan. And the project is scheduled to offer more than 3,000 jobs.
