SHFE Nickel Closes up (Jun. 15, 2016)

Overnight, SHFE 1609 nickel started at RMB 70,220/mt and ended at RMB 70,460/mt.

SHANGHAI, Jun. 15 (SMM) – Overnight, SHFE 1609 nickel started at RMB 70,220/mt and ended at RMB 70,460/mt.

SHFE 1609 nickel started at RMB 70,400/mt on Wednesday and advanced to RMB 71,300/mt, to close at RMB 71,240/mt, gaining 1.25%. Trading volumes increased 179,000 to 569,000 lots and positions were up 10,460 to 599,000.

Today is the last trading day for SHFE 1606 nickel with traded prices at RMB 70,000/mt. Settlement prices were up 1.04%. Positions grew 36 to 1,464 with trading volumes up 24 to 264. A total of 732 mt was delivered.
