China Refined Lead Operating Rates to Fall in June

The operating rates at Chinese refined lead smelters are expected to post declines of 3-4 percentage points in June, SMM reckons.

SHANGHAI, Jun. 3 (SMM) – The operating rates at Chinese refined lead smelters are expected to post declines of 3-4 percentage points in June, SMM reckons.

Domestic smelters will report trouble in hunting raw materials with reduction in imported concentrate. Additionally, some smelters will execute regular maintenance in summer.

And production at those smelters should post declines in June, including Yubei Gold & Lead Group, Guiyang Yinxing Nonferrous Metals, Mengzi Mining & Metallurgy, Lingbao Zhicheng Lead and Jiyuan Hongyang Lead Industry.
