SHFE Zinc Prices Close with Gains (2016-5-27)

SHFE 1607 zinc opened at RMB 14,950/mt last evening, and closed RMB 14,890/mt lower, up RMB 175/mt.

SHANGHAI, May 26 (SMM) – SHFE 1607 zinc opened at RMB 14,950/mt last evening, and closed RMB 14,890/mt lower, up RMB 175/mt. Trading volumes of SHFE 1607 zinc were 170,000, and positions decreased 4,386 to 148,000.

SHFE zinc price inched lower to RMB 14,850/mt after opening today, but rallied to RMB 14,850/mt, and closing at RMB 15,030/mt, up RMB 280/mt. Trading volumes of SHFE 1607 zinc decreased 41,000 to 350,000, and positions decreased over 10,000 to 142,000.
