SMM understands TCs of domestic zinc concentrate were lowered further this past week. Goods with high TCs from Inner Mongolia and Shaanxi were mainly sold to nearby regions. Mines mostly produce steadily during the peak season and sold normally.
Losses from imported ore narrowed 100 yuan to 840 yuan per tonne (zinc content) compared with domestic ore this past week, SMM calculates. Trading was quiet as zinc smelters were unwilling to purchase.
