SHFE Zinc Prices Close with Gains (2016-5-26)

SHFE 1607 zinc opened at RMB 14,630/mt last evening.

SHANGHAI, May 26 (SMM) – SHFE 1607 zinc opened at RMB 14,630/mt last evening, and closed RMB 14,650/mt lower, up RMB 75/mt. Trading volumes of SHFE 1607 zinc were 189,000, and positions decreased 3,584 to 164,000.

SHFE zinc price hovered above RMB 14,700/mt after opening today, and reached RMB 14,955/mt, and closing at RMB 14,920/mt, up RMB 345/mt. Trading volumes of SHFE 1607 zinc decreased 15,000 to 391,000, and positions decreased 15,000 to 152,000.
