SHANGHAI, May 26 (SMM) - MMG Limited holds that zinc and copper are still optimistic in the future, cnmn.com reports.

The 1.50 million-tpy zinc capacity closed last year will tighten supplies, and this will bolster zinc prices, Chief Executive Officer Andrew Michelmore says. At the same time, some copper projects are delayed for commissioning, also improving fundamentals.

The company is considering M&A of copper mines, and is confident of meeting its 440,000-49,000 tonnes of copper output target this year.
