SHFE Nickel Trades down (May 25, 2016)

SHANGHAI, May 25 (SMM) – SHFE 1609 nickel started at RMB 67,190/mt overnight and once grew to RMB 66,750/mt. The contract later rallied to RMB 67,820/mt before closing at RMB 67,500/mt.

SHFE 1609 nickel opened at RMB 67,550/mt on Wednesday and then ranged RMB 67,300-67,600/mt. In the afternoon business, SHFE nickel moved lower to RMB 66,800/mt before ending at RMB 66,820/mt. Trading volumes were up 80,070 to 634,000 lots and positions were up 1,592 to 654,000.
