China Dynamics Injects Funds for Development of Graphene Batteries

China Dynamics is aiming to research and develop graphene lead-acid batteries, based on its announcement issued on May 17.

SHANGHAI, May 19 (SMM) – China Dynamics is aiming to research and develop graphene lead-acid batteries, based on its announcement issued on May 17.

China Dynamics and Shanghai Xinchi Energy Technology entered into strategic cooperation agreement to jointly research and develop graphene lead-acid batteries. China Dynamics targets three main businesses, namely ignition batteries, energy storage battery for industrial use and lithium-ion and green batteries.

Net profit for China Dynamics is expected to be 200 million yuan ($ 30.56 million) in 2016, 210 million yuan in 2017 and 240 million yuan in 2018 if not considering factors like consolidated financial statements.

The project will center on 500,000 mt of aluminum capacity, alongside the supporting development of a 2 million kW clean energy base, and is expected to join hands with Guangxi Investment Group, a core industrial investor, to build a complete eco-industrial base for the entire aluminum industry chain.
