SHFE 1609 nickel started at RMB 68,880/mt overnight and once advanced to RMB 69,640/mt. The contract ranged RMB 69,150-69,450/mt before closing at RMB 69,210/mt.

SHANGHAI, May 17 (SMM) – SHFE 1609 nickel started at RMB 68,880/mt overnight and once advanced to RMB 69,640/mt. The contract ranged RMB 69,150-69,450/mt before closing at RMB 69,210/mt.

SHFE 1609 nickel opened at RMB 69,300/mt on Tuesday and then moved lower to RMB 68,670/mt. SHFE nickel later hovered between RMB 68,700-69,000/mt and traced ferrous metals prices up to RMB 69,530/mt before ending at RMB 69,410/mt, up 0.81%. Trading volumes were up 11,344 to 689,000 lots and positions grew 3,368 to 595,000.

[SMM News Flash] According to reports, prototype samples of the new distributed electric drive rear subframe product at ChenZhi Lightweight's Ya'an base completed the first round of bundled delivery. The trial production of the new product took only from March 5, when the molds arrived at the plant, to March 10, when the first batch of products was delivered.
