SHFE 1607 lead contract started at RMB 12,845/mt overnight and moved higher to RMB 12,960/mt with closing prices at RMB 12,945/mt, up RMB 65/mt.

SHANGHAI, May 17 (SMM) – SHFE 1607 lead contract started at RMB 12,845/mt overnight and moved higher to RMB 12,960/mt with closing prices at RMB 12,945/mt, up RMB 65/mt.

SHFE 1607 lead dropped to RMB 12,870/mt on Tuesday but later bounced back with growing longs, to end at RMB 12,985/mt, up RMB 120/mt or 0.93%. Trading volumes were down 1,324 to 7,186 lots and positions grew 286 to 17,820.
