SHFE 1609 nickel started at RMB 69,050/mt overnight and ranged RMB 69,000-69,400/mt, to close at RMB 69,310/mt.

SHANGHAI, May 11 (SMM) – SHFE 1609 nickel started at RMB 69,050/mt overnight and ranged RMB 69,000-69,400/mt, to close at RMB 69,310/mt.

SHFE 1609 nickel opened at RMB 69,350/mt on Wednesday and then moved higher to RMB 69,700/mt before moving at RMB 69,000-69,700/mt. The contract narrowly ranged RMB 69,350-69,600/mt and ended at RMB 69,400/mt, up 0.27%. Trading volumes were down 172,000 to 774,000 lots and positions were up 8,136 to 606,000.

SHFE 1609 nickel may grow marginally tonight.
