Scrap gold prices fall, Platinum and Silver up 9th May, 2016

The daily scrap gold prices - hallmarked and non- hallmarked declined marginally Monday, 9th May, 2016.

SPOKANE (Scrap Monster): The daily scrap gold prices - both hallmarked  and non- hallmarked declined marginally Monday, 9th May on the ScrapMonster Price Index. The prices of scrap Silver and Platinum rebounded on Index.

In the Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices were down by $ 1.42 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap went down by $ 1.82 and $ 2.22 per Oz respectively.9 carat gold scrap also edged lower by $ 0.91 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap witnessed a rise of $ 5.84 per Oz to reach $ 781.62 per Oz. Silver scrap prices were up by $ 0.01 per Oz.

In the Non-Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices went lower by $ 1.34 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap too went down by $ 1.72 and $ 2.11 per Oz respectively.9 carat gold scrap also declined by $ 0.86 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap increased by $ 5.84 per Oz. Silver scrap prices went marginally higher by $ 0.02 per Oz to touch $ 12.66 per Oz.

China and Laos Signed an MOU on the Oudomxay AI Green Power Aluminum Project Together
Vientiane recently marked a major milestone in China-Laos green industrial cooperation—Krittaphong Group Co., Ltd. and CGN Energy Technology (Laos) Co., Ltd., together with the Ministry of Industry and Commerce of Laos and Oudomxay Province, officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the Oudomxay AI Green Electricity Eco-Aluminum Industrial Park Project. Tang Danzhong, Deputy General Manager of Guangxi Investment Group, and Lin Rui, Chairman of Electricite du Laos Transmission Company Limited (EDL-T), attended the signing ceremony as witnesses, fully demonstrating all parties’ firm confidence in and full support for the project’s smooth implementation. The project will center on 500,000 mt of aluminum capacity, alongside the supporting development of a 2 million kW clean energy base, and is expected to join hands with Guangxi Investment Group, a core industrial investor, to build a complete eco-industrial base for the entire aluminum industry chain.
