SHFE 1609 nickel started at RMB 73,460/mt overnight and sank to RMB 69,950/mt.

SHANGHAI, May 6 (SMM) – SHFE 1609 nickel started at RMB 73,460/mt overnight and sank to RMB 69,950/mt responding to LME nickel and ended at RMB 70,550/mt.

SHFE nickel opened at RMB 70,620/mt on Friday and then ranged RMB 70,300-71,200/mt, to end the day 3.70% lower at RMB 70,700/mt. Trading volumes were up 442,000 to 1.41 million lots and positions fell 35,012 to 579,000.
