SHFE 1607 lead shifted to the most active contract overnight.

SHANGHAI, May 6 (SMM) – SHFE 1607 lead shifted to the most active contract overnight. The contract started at RMB 13,070/mt and moved around RMB 13,000/mt with closing prices at RMB 12,995/mt.

SHFE 1607 lead sank to RMB 12,845/mt on Friday and closed at RMB 12,925/mt, down RMB 210/mt or 1.6%. Trading volumes were up 4,430 to 8,746 lots and positions grew 1,898 to 15,304.

SHFE 1607 lead should fall further this evening.

Tax Authorities See Progress in Tackling Circular and Mutual Invoicing, Wholesale Sector Invoicing Down 2.6% YoY

On April 1, Wang Daoshu, Deputy Commissioner of the State Taxation Administration, said at a press conference held by the administration: the tax authorities had also achieved initial results in rectifying “circular invoicing” and “mutual invoicing.” China's data from the State Taxation Administration showed that from January 1 to March 25, invoicing amounts in the wholesale sector, where such enterprises were relatively concentrated, fell 2.6% YoY.
