SHFE 1609 nickel started at RMB 74,540/mt overnight and ranged RMB 74,00074,400/mt and ended at RMB 74,270/mt.

SHANGHAI, May 5 (SMM) – SHFE 1609 nickel started at RMB 74,540/mt overnight and ranged RMB 74,000/mt and ended at RMB 74,270/mt.

SHFE nickel opened at RMB 74,350/mt on Thursday and then dipped to RMB 73,120/mt, to end the day 1.26% lower at RMB 73,420/mt. Trading volumes were down 459,000 to 970,000 lots and positions fell 12,468 to 614,000.
