SHANGHAI, Jun. 4 (SMM) – One stainless steel mill in north China raised the procurement price for high-grade NPI by 40 yuan per mtu for May, and prices will be higher for large suppliers, SMM learns.

Rising Momentum to Continue in China NPI Market, SMM Says

The price, based on cash for spot delivery, price-to-factory, including tax, will be 750 yuan per mtu, and 760 yuan for volumes above 5,000 tonnes, and 770 yuan for volumes above 10,000 tonnes.
